Here’s a little Drone Terminology to help you. A four propeller drone is referred to as quadcopters. The purpose of your quadcopter propellers is to generate thrust and torque, this keeps your drone flying, and maneuvering. Next is a six propeller is called hexacopters. The hexacopter offers an advantage due to its six propellers. If one of those propellers fail, the other five can keep the machine flying! Lastly eight propellers are known as octocopters. Of course, it is a much more powerful machine than either the quadcopter or the hexacopter. It can fly higher, move faster and carry heavier payloads than other drones.

Make Sure You Know Your Drone Flying Legalities

These flying machines can legally roam the skies under 400 ft. for recreational purposes.  We do not recommend that you fly them around Government Buildings, Lands or especially anything Military related.

With so many pilots taking to the skies, it is important to remember to fly cautiously and with safety in mind. When flying, it is absolutely imperative to stay below 400 feet, keep at least five miles away of airports, and never fly above people. Regardless of how much research you have done on a specific drone, it is absolutely necessary to read the owner’s manual from start to finish before flying . Every drone is different and requires a thorough understanding in order to fly it safely.
